Planned eligibility

  • A love of Japanese culture and respect for its cultural and spiritual context
  • Courtesy and the ability to act with care for others
  • A wish to bring the wisdom of Japanese culture into everyday life
  • A desire to carry culture forward to future generations
  • Alignment with the association’s mission and program principles
  • An active social media account of your own
  • Availability to take part in the selection interview
  • Commitment to communication guidelines and accurate storytelling
  • Ability to participate consistently within a sustainable personal schedule

Special qualifications, prior experience, or specialist knowledge are not currently planned as requirements, and selection is not based on follower count alone.

Cohort decision

Selected applicants receive program guidance and foundational orientation.

Appointment & launch

After the official announcement, the planned one-year ambassador term begins.
