This site provides official information about the Miko Culture Ambassador program while clearly distinguishing confirmed information from current plans.

These terms apply to use of this website operated by the Japan Cultural Heritage Association.

Dates, eligibility, and activity details that are not final are marked as planned. Material changes will be posted on the News page.

Prohibited conduct

Illegal activity, unauthorized access, disruption, rights infringement, false submissions, or misleading use of the site or program name is prohibited.

Intellectual property

Text, photography, design, names, and other materials belong to the association or their lawful rights holders. Unauthorized reproduction, alteration, or commercial use is not permitted.

Final application terms will be published when applications open.

The following matters are not fixed as final conditions at this stage. They will be stated clearly before applications are accepted and applicants will be asked to agree before submission.

  • Activities, communication expectations, and required participation
  • Responsibility for travel, accommodation, connectivity, and other costs
  • Permission relating to photography, film, writing, and other content
  • Selection, withdrawal, pause, and exit conditions
  • Confidentiality, conflicts, prohibited conduct, and response procedures

PARTICIPATION SAFEGUARDS

Seven safeguards that will be stated in the final terms.

Specific conditions and procedures remain subject to coordination, but the final terms will reflect the following safeguards for informed participation.

Clear information before application

Eligibility, activities, required participation, assessment principles, and term details will be available before applications are accepted.

Consent for image and content use

Photography, film, writing, and other material will be used only within a stated purpose, medium, period, and scope with the required consent.

Costs stated in advance

Any participant responsibility for travel, accommodation, connectivity, fees, or related costs will be stated before a participation decision is required.

Confidentiality and conflicts

Non-public, personal, and partner information must be protected, while overlapping roles or commercial interests are disclosed in advance.

Withdrawal and pause procedures

The final terms will provide a contact route and procedure for pause, withdrawal, or exit due to health, work, study, family, or other circumstances.

Proportionate response to breaches

Except for urgent safety measures, decisions such as guidance, correction, pause, or exit will follow fact-finding and an opportunity for the person concerned to respond.

Protection of minors

If minors are included, age, guardian consent, safeguarding, and image or film conditions will be stated clearly.
